PRONevada: We exist to promote Rural Nevada's best interests. We exist to make sure the things that made Nevada great remain and the things that will continue to make Nevada great will have a voice. We exist to give that voice to farmers, ranchers, miners and rural Nevadans who, otherwise, would not have a collective voice in government and in the minds of Las Vegas and Reno. We are PRO Nevada.

2008: A New Year and a new Commitment to Protecting and Promoting Rural Nevada

This will be a big year for PRONevada as we make our debut on a statewide stage to promote the values of rural Nevada. We are proud to be a part of this group of people. These are the hardworking people who put food on YOUR table. These are the hardworking people who go into the depths of the earth to pull out the resources needed for new development and new growth. These are the people who make us a small percentage of the population but do the MAJORITY of the production. The entertainment and tourism of Las Vegas and Reno is great and it brings much needed dollars to Nevada but let's face it. If another crisis hits, or if (God forbid) our economy goes into the crapper; it will be the farmers, ranchers, and miners of Nevada that will pull us out of the dump.

This year PRONevada sets new goals for Preserving Rural Opportunities:

- Goal #1: PRONevada is now a 501c3 non profit organization and this year we will begin fundraising and promotional opportunities

- Goal #2: PRONevada will get it's information onto the Nevada stage by pushing it's weblog and by physically going to and reporting from locations around rural Nevada

- Goal #3: PRONevada will begin highlighting the activities of rural Nevada by visiting these locations and promoting them on the website in in news releases.

- Goal #4: PRONevada will again begin highlighting political figures who are PRO Nevada and Anti Nevada through their decisions and activities.
